How to cure internet Adverts

Internet ads present a two-fold problem. On one hand they’re annoying for users. On the other hand when users start blocking them the publishers stop getting revenue to support their websites. Is this something that can be solved?

Introducing Brave: How to cure internet Adverts

Brave is a Chromium based browser that has endeavored, much like Firefox to fight internet tyranny. The primary ways they’re doing this is by:

  1. Blocking Ads natively within the browser
  2. Rewarding users for watching “Brave approved ads”
  3. Allow users to “Tip” creators with aforementioned revenue each month
  4. Blocking social media tracking systems

While I don’t believe that Brave is the solution to this two faced conundrum, I think the steps they’re taking are in the right direction.
